Job Overview
A well-established law firm based in Charlotte, NC is seeking a mid-level transactional attorney to support its complex finance practice. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who has a solid foundation in structured transactions and is looking to further their experience with securitized assets and high-value finance arrangements. The selected candidate will work closely with a dynamic team representing diverse clients, including financial institutions, sponsors, and issuers, across various capital markets deals.

Duties

  • Advise clients in connection with structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities and warehouse facilities.

  • Draft and negotiate offering documents, loan agreements, and transaction-related instruments.

  • Manage all aspects of deal execution from inception to closing in collaboration with internal and external parties.

  • Analyze legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to structured credit products.

  • Support partners in expanding and deepening client relationships within the financial services sector.

  • Stay informed of industry and legal developments impacting transaction structures and client interests.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of legal practice with a focus on transactional matters, ideally involving structured finance or securitization.

  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing complex legal documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

  • A proactive approach to client service and business development.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school or equivalent legal education.

Certifications

  • Membership in good standing with a . State Bar.

  • Admission to the North Carolina Bar is preferred or willingness to become licensed.
