Duties

  • Assist in secured and unsecured lending transactions, including fund financings, acquisition financings, and leveraged finance.
  • Handle bridge loans and other complex syndicated and bilateral financings.
  • Collaborate on both domestic and cross-border finance deals for a diverse client base.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare documentation to support various financial transactions.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop and implement financing strategies.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in fund finance, leverage finance, or private credit.
  • Experience with complex domestic and cross-border finance transactions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree, graduating class of 2022 or 2023, from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership, in good standing, with the ability to practice in North Carolina or eligibility for admission.

Skills

  • Proficiency in handling various financing transactions, including secured and unsecured lending.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
