- Offer practical work experience and skill development
- Familiarize participants with court procedures and operations
- Intended to provide an enhanced understanding and appreciation for the judicial system
- Placement areas: Court Administration & Courthouse Operations, Judicial and Courtroom Operations, Family Court Services Mediation, Paralegal
- Eligibility for accreditation or course credit from school or certification program (applicant's responsibility to determine if program meets requirements)
- Participants receive access to networking opportunities and an overview of Court processes and procedures

Paralegal Program:
- Provides quality paralegal work experience
- Assists with preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues
- Placement areas: Family Law (Self-Help Centers, Domestic Violence Clinic, Guardianship Clinic, Toll Family Law Counseling Center with LAFLA)
- Who should apply: students currently enrolled in paralegal schools, colleges, and universities throughout LA County; individuals who have completed a Paralegal certificate program in paralegal schools, colleges, or universities
