Job Title: Tax SAP Global Trade Services Manager
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Manager within the Global Trade Advisory Practice at the company, the individual will work with industry-leading clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include delivering complex projects, leading customer and sales operations pursuits, and participating in practice development initiatives. The role involves promoting forums for sharing expertise, collaborating on innovative solutions, and developing knowledge in SAP's newest solutions such as SAP S/4 and SAP GTS, Edition for HANA. The Manager will also perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current capabilities, and develop customized solutions with a strong focus on logical thinking and problem-solving. Further, the position requires support for new business processes around global trade, delivering implementation support for complex projects, and contributing to the growth of the SAP GTS practice globally.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years’ relevant SAP consulting or industry experience, with specific experience in implementing SAP GTS Modules such as Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade Preference. The candidate should have served as a technical or functional lead on at least two full-lifecycle SAP implementations. A Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business, or technology-related field is necessary. The candidate must have prior experience with SAP GTS and familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4 modules like SD, MM, and LE. An ability to work in a hybrid work model is required, along with the willingness to travel up to 10% based on client needs. The candidate should possess one of the following active accreditations: Licensed CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or relevant technology certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Preferred qualifications include education with a SAP focus, software aptitude in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio, and experience in presenting to clients or decision-makers. Knowledge of export regulations like ITAR/EAR, strong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills are also preferred. The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, have a strong understanding of end-to-end processes, and demonstrate strong team and organizational skills.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is estimated between $108,430 and $246,870. This range considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, which depends on individual and organizational performance.
