Job Title: Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist plays a crucial role in providing litigation docketing support across multiple jurisdictions within the law firm. Reporting to the Litigation Docketing Manager, this client-focused and detail-oriented position involves managing a high volume of court filings and attorney requests daily. The specialist is responsible for familiarizing themselves with local rules and conducting necessary research to ensure accurate and efficient docketing processes. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and assisting with incoming court filings.
- Reviewing legal documents to identify deadlines for Federal, State, and Appellate Courts.
- Entering litigation deadlines into the docketing database according to established procedures.
- Generating docket reports and responding to queries from attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Monitoring cases using online resources and distributing documents to case teams as requested.
- Handling case team inquiries and requests efficiently.
- Assisting with team review and training by providing feedback and updates.
- Processing incoming litigation matters from various courts/agencies.
- Leading multiple high-complexity projects assigned by the manager.
- Maintaining and enforcing Litigation Docketing Team protocols.
- Assisting the Litigation Docketing Manager with advanced reporting, complex docketing procedures, and assigning work to other team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet the position's requirements fully.

Education and Experience:
Candidates for the Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist position are expected to possess a combination of education and experience that enables them to perform the job effectively. The qualifications include:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation docketing, calendaring, and civil procedure.
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of litigation procedures, court websites, and litigation docketing software and procedures.
- Ability to provide clear and concise training on litigation docketing processes and procedures.
- Capacity to handle and maintain confidential or sensitive information.
- Ability to work with all levels within the firm.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, data entry, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Salary Information:
The salary for the Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist position is determined by considering various factors, including the candidate’s education, training, experience, the position's work location, external market conditions, and internal pay alignment within the law firm. The Colorado salary range for this position is to per hour. Additionally, a discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.

The law firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, EAP, STD, and LTD insurance. Additional Information:
The position is in-person Monday through Friday for the first 90 days, transitioning to a hybrid role with in-office presence required at least two days per week after the initial period. The position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events.
