Job Title: Manager, Transfer Pricing
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in Transfer Pricing, you will be responsible for providing clients with critical knowledge to effectively manage intercompany pricing issues. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals from backgrounds in tax, economics, law, finance, and accounting. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with economists, tax attorneys, business professionals, and tax specialists to analyze and resolve international transfer pricing issues for multinational enterprises across various industries.
- Supervising the assignments of engagement staff and providing leadership, counseling, and training to Consultants and Senior Consultants.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses and the broader industry context in which they operate.
- Managing and overseeing detailed economic and financial analyses, as well as conducting complex modeling and empirical analyses.
- Assisting in drafting proposals, document requests, reports, client presentations, and other client materials.
Education and Experience Information:
Required qualifications for this role include:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Transfer Pricing within a consulting environment.
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or . in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or an equivalent field.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work performed and the clients and industries/sectors served.
- Active accreditation in one of the following:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, then one of the following designations based on role requirements and business approval:
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or . in a relevant field (Master’s or . preferred)
- Foreign equivalent of the above
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience with a Big 4 firm, transfer pricing, or financial experience.
- Highly motivated with a deep understanding of transfer pricing principles, their theory, and interpretation.
- Strong project management skills and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103,320 to $235,170.
Additional compensation information includes potential eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
