Job Title:
Associate Attorney-Litigation

Salary Information:

Experience Information:
- 1-4 years of experience as an associate attorney
- Prior experience in the Southern California construction industry preferred
- Active California Bar admission required, additional Bar admissions in Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, or Guam a plus

Law Firm:
- Providing litigation, business, real estate, and other types of law to clients ranging from small, privately owned businesses to major corporations
- Diverse and able to provide personalized services to large and small clients within the construction industry

Responsibilities:
- Client problem solving and relationship building
- Providing quality legal services rather than just billing hours
- Speaking to professional trade groups on contracts and construction law topics
- Interpreting the law, providing legal advice, and preparing legal documents
- Developing a working knowledge of construction law and representing clients in court

Requirements:
- Outstanding legal researching and writing skills
- Ability to think on one's feet
- Personable, enthusiastic, and willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve the firm's goals
- Willingness to participate in trade group activities and firm marketing activities, which may require entertaining clients during evenings and weekends
- Self-directed and able to take initiative on all matters
