A dynamic and client-focused law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its Connecticut office. Location:

  • New Haven, Connecticut

Duties:

  • Litigate personal injury cases including automobile and premises liability matters

  • Develop medical and factual evidence with clients and legal team

  • Draft and file pleadings, discovery, and motions with Connecticut state courts

  • Conduct legal research and argue discovery motions in State and Federal courts

  • Manage court approval process for wrongful death and minor settlements

  • Prepare cases for pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement phases

  • Track service of process and ensure compliance with statute of limitations deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Connecticut

  • Demonstrated litigation experience including motion practice and case management

  • Strong client communication skills with a compassionate and ethical approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to a mission-driven legal team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Connecticut Bar admission (required)

  • Admission in NY, PA, OH, or WV is a plus

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical and legal research abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology tools

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
