Law Firm Seeking Experienced Litigation Career Associate
Are you an experienced litigation attorney looking for a new opportunity? **Members Only** is currently seeking a Career Associate with at least 7 years of experience to join our Litigation Business Unit in any of our US office locations. This is a regular full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities of a Litigation Career Associate at Orrick:
- Participate on trial teams and manage the trial calendar
- Staff associates within the group and assist with their development
- Prepare client communications and thought leadership materials on industry developments
- Oversee long-term projects and ensure they align with the team's goals
- Work closely with practice lawyers to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with the innovation team to assign resources and maximize impact on client matters
- Identify staffing needs and assist with hiring new lawyers for the group
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of litigation legal experience
- Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience with drafting briefs, motions, and discovery documents
- Ability to handle discovery tasks and assist with witness preparation
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment and with clients
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering excellent customer service

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $234,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff. This includes elective health benefits, mental well-being benefits, parental leave, paid holidays, and more. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus based on firm and individual performance.
