Experience: Criminal, juvenile, and/or appellate experience, and/or appellate court clerkship preferred
H1: Join the SAPD as a Deputy **Members Only** in Boise, Idaho
H2: Help preserve Constitutional protections and advocate for vulnerable citizens
- Represent indigent clients in appeals before the Idaho Court of Appeals and the Idaho Supreme Court
- Review trial court records and evaluate potential issues for appeal
- Conduct legal research and draft appellate motions and briefs
- Deliver oral arguments before the Idaho Court of Appeals and the Idaho Supreme Court
- Travel to various locations within the State of Idaho for court hearings and client visits
Minimum Qualifications:

- Commitment to indigent defense
- Criminal, juvenile, and/or appellate experience, and/or appellate court clerkship preferred
