This role involves providing legal counsel on international employment matters, handling employment-related aspects of corporate transactions, and advising companies on compliance with employment regulations.

Duties:

• Conduct due diligence on employment matters related to corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, retention contracts, and related documents.
• Guide workforce restructuring, employee terminations, and reductions in force.
• Develop and review restrictive covenants and counsel on employee mobility issues.
• Advise emerging and established companies on various employment law matters.

• Stay updated on evolving employment laws and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on counseling (domestic and/or international).
• Strong background in handling cross-border employment issues.
• Ability to provide strategic legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota.
