Job Title: Senior Trust Officer
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Trust Officer is tasked with managing a portfolio of fiduciary and investment management accounts specifically for high-net-worth clients and beneficiaries, which often include multi-generational families. The primary responsibilities involve overseeing the administration and business development of complex investment management and trust accounts. The role requires collaboration with team members to ensure trust product awareness and education for clients, associates, and Centers of Influence. Key duties include:
- Providing fiduciary administration support, which encompasses the review of trust instruments, engagement in discretionary trustee matters, risk management, and conducting periodic trust reviews.
- Supporting investment management accounts by coordinating the opening and closing of accounts, facilitating money movement, and maintaining accounts.
- Engaging with clients and prospects to build and transfer wealth in alignment with their unique goals, ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements pertinent to client accounts and portfolios.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities by fostering new or expanded relationships with existing clients and prospects.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary school education. However, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience is preferred, particularly with a minimum of 5 years of experience in trust administration and estate planning. Desired credentials include being a fiduciary professional with certifications such as CTFA, CFP, AEP, JD, or CPA, or being within six months of obtaining such certification.
