Salary: Starting at $62, - $65, (may vary based on experience)

Job Description:

- Represent adults charged with criminal felonies who are deemed indigent and unable to afford an attorney
- Develop fundamental trial skills under the mentorship of experienced attorneys
- Manage all aspects of caseload
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to provide zealous advocacy for clients
- Demonstrate compassion for clients and a desire to provide relentless representation
- Treat clients with dignity and offer honest advice and best defense
- Graduate or anticipated graduate of an accredited school of law
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Kansas or in good standing in another state and willing to seek admission to Kansas bar immediately upon hire
- Will accept applications from law student candidates prior to taking the bar exam

Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate:

- Must be obtained and submitted within 10 days from the date of the offer letter
- A comprehensive tax account review to ensure compliance with primary Kansas Tax Laws
- Expires every 90 days
