Job Title: Senior General Commercial RE Litigation Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and appeals.
- Represent clients in both State and Federal Court appearances and mediations.
- Conduct diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages.
- Oversee practice management within the department, focusing on real estate-related litigation matters.
- Handle cases with a particular emphasis on commercial mortgage foreclosures and other secured creditor enforcement.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in general commercial and real estate litigation.
- Must be admitted to practice law in New York; admission in New Jersey is considered a plus.
- Experience in bankruptcy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Must possess excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Requires strong negotiation skills and a high level of independence in multitasking.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and prioritizing skills are essential.
- Strong communication and written skills for effective client contact.
- Management experience is highly valued.
Salary Information:
- The position offers a competitive salary ranging between $175,000 and $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
