Summary:
Selzer Gurvitch, a prestigious law firm in Maryland, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in real estate transactions and lender/borrower matters. This is an exciting opportunity for growth within an established firm with a strong focus on trust and estate, real estate, lending, business, and transactional law. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and writing skills, strong oral communication skills, and a desire to excel in a growing firm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents.
- Review and analyze due diligence materials.
- Supervise title and survey review.
- Draft and review entity governing and authorization documents.
- Organize and coordinate closings.
Requirements for the Position:
- Active member of the Maryland Bar (membership in Virginia and/or . Bar is a plus).
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance.
- 5+ years of relevant commercial real estate experience.
- Ability to handle multiple transactions independently or collaboratively.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
