The Real Estate Investments and Transactions Department at a top law firm in New York is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with commercial real estate experience to work on complex transactions and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complex commercial real estate transactions nationwide, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, financing and lending, and distressed situations across various asset classes (., office, retail, industrial, life science, hospitality, multifamily, etc.)
- Work closely with partners and clients to provide strategic advice and counsel
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents
- Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes
- Assist with managing and mentoring junior associates and legal staff

Requirements:

- . from an accredited law school (expected graduation 2021-2023)
- Admission to the New York State Bar (or willingness to become admitted)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions at a big law firm
- Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary Information:

- Minimum salary: $215,000 annually
- Maximum salary: $260,000 annually
- Actual pay may vary based on experience and other relevant factors
