Job Title:
Director - Global Labor & Employment, Ethics & Compliance

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead labor and employment attorney responsible for the Ethics & Compliance function for the company, a military and commercial helicopter company headquartered in Ft. Worth, TX, supporting all global locations.
- Report to the Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer, providing legal analysis and opinions on employment law, regulatory compliance, ethics, company policies, litigation, and audits to business units, functions, and senior management.
- Serve as the sole attorney devoted to labor and employment, supported by a strong-performing team.
- Provide timely, practical legal and business advice to domestic and international operations.
- Offer legal guidance on Ethics and Compliance issues and policies, managing all Ethics & Compliance office activities, including Global Anti-Corruption Compliance (GACC), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), . Anti-Money Laundering Compliance (AML), conflict of interest, gift and hospitality requests, Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews, Ethics & Compliance helpline investigations, compliance training, record retention, domestic consultant management, and Compliance Risk-Assessment.
- Brief the Executive Team on Ethics & Compliance updates through Quarterly Steering Committee.
- Partner with Human Resources and Labor Relations to identify and resolve existing legal issues and anticipate and plan for future legal issues.
- Manage outside counsel on all labor and employment litigation.
- Handle all labor and employment matters before local, state, and federal administrative agencies.
- Develop and deliver training on a broad range of labor, employment, and compliance issues.
- Moderate travel is probable.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 10+ years combined experience in labor and employment law practice, either at a law firm or in the labor and employment practice of an in-house legal department.
- If the experience is with an in-house legal department, a global company with manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university is required.
- . from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
- Must be in good standing with at least one State Bar.
- Experience with . union negotiations is preferred.
- Experience in domestic and international ethics and compliance and investigations is preferred.
- Experience leading a team is strongly preferred.

- Preferred experience with international labor and employment issues, especially in Canada, Singapore, and the Czech Republic.
- Experience with various types of workforce-related issues.
