Job Title: AI Program Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The AI Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that AI tools and solutions are tailored, adopted, and effectively integrated within each practice group at the law firm. Key responsibilities include:

- Exploring, adopting, and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions across practice groups.
- Managing AI projects by evaluating new AI technologies, coordinating test programs, and implementing AI technologies.
- Collaborating closely with attorneys and cross-functional teams to drive AI use cases and adoption, instilling foundational knowledge of AI capabilities, risks, limitations, and ethical responsibilities.
- Streamlining legal workflows and identifying opportunities to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks.
- Monitoring and analyzing legal technology and AI trends to identify opportunities to leverage AI's potential.
- Leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance client service, ensuring alignment with firm goals, and delivering exceptional value to clients.
- Evaluating AI offerings in vendor solutions.
- Assisting with developing and maintaining an AI Compliance Program.
- Providing hands-on support for AI tool implementation.
- Conducting training sessions on AI tools for attorneys and staff.
- Measuring and reporting on the impact of AI adoption.
- Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the firm’s overall objectives.

Education and Experience Information:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required. Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and practical experience in AI implementation and legal technology will be considered.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal setting or professional services environment, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing or working with AI technologies. Experience in an Am Law 200 firm or equivalent is highly desirable. A proven track record of successfully driving technology adoption and managing change within legal practices is essential.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position in Colorado is $94,380 - $157,310 annually. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance. The law firm takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market, and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.

Additional Information:
- Competencies required include communication skills, customer/client experience, job knowledge & technical skills, organization & planning, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Advanced AI literacy is necessary, with a demonstrated understanding of generative AI technologies, their capabilities, limitations, and ethical implications in legal practice, including machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models.
- Compliance and ethics expertise, change management skills, technical proficiency, data governance understanding, strategic innovation mindset, training and education design, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are essential.
- Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods, manipulate weights of at least twenty-five pounds, have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment, speak clearly and concisely, and regularly understand the speech of another person.
- The work environment is a professional office atmosphere with sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. The position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events.
