Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a midlevel to senior Litigation Associate with a minimum of five years of experience to support a dynamic and growing antitrust litigation practice in Washington, . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with complex litigation matters, particularly those involving antitrust claims. Duties:
Serve as a key team member in active antitrust litigation matters
Manage all phases of complex litigation, including pre-trial strategy, discovery, e-discovery, and motions practice
Conduct and defend depositions
Assist in expert witness preparation and coordination
Contribute to trial preparation and trial execution
Engage with enforcement agencies such as the DOJ, FTC, CFPB, or state attorneys general (preferred)
Draft memoranda, legal briefs, and other substantive pleadings
Mentor and supervise junior associates or litigation staff
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and litigation support teams in multi-party or class action cases
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of complex litigation experience, with exposure to antitrust matters preferred
Significant experience with case strategy, depositions, expert discovery, and motion practice
Prior experience in multi-party litigation or class actions strongly preferred
Experience interacting with federal or state enforcement agencies is a plus
Proven ability to lead projects and supervise junior attorneys or paralegals
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the District of Columbia Bar and in good standing
Additional bar admissions a plus
Skills:
Excellent legal research and analytical skills
Strong drafting and oral advocacy abilities
Ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven matters
Effective team leadership and mentoring skills
Proficiency in managing electronic discovery and working with litigation support platforms
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing responsibilities
