Job Title: Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The State Level Attorney is tasked with ensuring client success during litigation, including preparation and trial proceedings. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Reviewing and approving new claims within the Attorney's jurisdiction, ensuring consistent case movement in alignment with state-level goals.
- Assisting with the management and supervision of jurisdictional inventory under the direction of the Managing Attorney or Regional Attorney, including exception and queue management.
- Conducting document review and discovery processes.
- Executing documents that require the Attorney's signature.
- Communicating with the Managing Attorney, Regional Attorney, and clients to discuss case details.
- Assisting in responding to litigation-specific components of client audits.
- Monitoring relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law.
- Conducting research and analysis of legal problems.
- Analyzing the probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents.
- Preparing and filing legal documents.
- Managing and resolving collection litigation.
- Working with Pro Se litigants, opposing counsel, or other interested parties to settle files throughout the litigation process.
- Overseeing and interacting with outside collections and defense counsel.
- Supporting corporate compliance with laws and regulations governing debt collection and related activities.
- Performing all other duties as assigned by the Managing Attorney or Regional Attorney.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must be graduates of an accredited institution by the American Bar Association (ABA) with a Juris Doctor (.) degree.
- Must be licensed to practice law.
- Demonstrated case analysis ability and a proven track record of settlement skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
- Proficient in internet and online research.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, printer, scanner, and computer.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it.
- Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to represent the company in various forums to foster the desires and image of the company in the community.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Attorney position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands and work environment requirements include:

- Regular requirement to talk or hear.
- Frequent use of hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequent requirement to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
