Job Title: Senior Ethics Manager, Allegations Management
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Ethics Manager, Allegations Management, will be a key member of the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function within the company. The role involves driving and shaping the Ethics program by implementing strategic and operational initiatives, especially in managing the intake and triage of allegations and complex case management. The manager will lead, manage, and remediate key risk areas across the firm's E&C program, providing leadership in legal, regulatory, and compliance-related reviews. The individual is expected to navigate complex and multifaceted issues to achieve risk-based resolutions and develop consistency across the firm. This includes identifying opportunities to enhance and evolve the Ethics program, leveraging internal and external data to develop insights and recommendations, and implementing data, technology, and tooling capabilities for optimal data quality and analytics. Collaboration with varied stakeholders across all firm functions (Legal, Internal Audit, Finance & HR) is crucial, as is engaging in a collaborative partnership with other Ethics & Compliance colleagues and stakeholders. The manager will play a critical role in sustaining and evolving the E&C program and upholding the firm's commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees and/or applicable professional certifications preferred. A Juris Doctor (JD) is strongly preferred.
- The candidate should have over 8 years of professional experience in legal, regulatory, and compliance environments, with a preference for attorneys with "Big Law" and/or in-house experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in leading and managing complex investigations, including litigation, internal investigations, or regulatory reviews, is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in identifying and addressing legal, regulatory, and compliance-related issues, including multifaceted investigations, is necessary.
- Experience with using third-party case management technologies to drive complex investigations is important.
- Strong skills in Excel, Tableau (or other data visualization technology), along with analytical and data management skills, are preferred.
