Job Title: Document Assembly - Retail
Job Responsibilities:
As a Document Assembly employee at the law firm, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical tasks that support the efficient operation of the legal process. Key responsibilities include:
- Copying, scanning, collating, binding, and assembling a high volume of court pleadings for filing with the Courts and mailing to the appropriate parties.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate opening and management of a high volume of incoming and outgoing mail, and routing it accordingly.
- Maintaining proper log records to track all shipping and receiving issues.
- Monitoring the inventory of supplies to ensure that day-to-day supplies are adequately stocked.
- Remaining knowledgeable about the complete operation of the law firm's shipping and mailing systems.
- Attaching checks to outgoing mail, logging certified mail, and operating postage machines to stuff, seal, and stamp outgoing mail daily.
- Attaching filing fees to court documents, scanning, and managing copy and fax projects.
- Providing excellent customer service to employees, vendors, and guests while supporting all mail requirements.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- The position requires an individual with the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital dexterity is needed for folding, stuffing, and sealing large numbers of letters.
- Effective and professional communication skills are essential.
- Strong customer service skills are required, along with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are necessary.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
- A responsible individual capable of working both independently and in a team environment is needed.
- A strong work ethic and dependability are crucial.
- The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to bend, lift, or carry up to 20 pounds is required.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is to hourly.

Travel:
- This position requires up to 0-5% travel, excluding local commute.
