Attorney The candidate will work directly with business owners and their leadership teams to address business decisions at all stages of the business life cycle from startup to exit. Will also work directly with firm's leadership team to i) develop internal processes; ii) actively support marketing and business development efforts to grow our brand and our company; iii) mentor other attorneys and staff members in the firm. Will engages proactively with business clients to understand their goals. Provides sound legal advice and pragmatic solutions to address clients business questions and concerns. Builds client relationships based on trust and value. Prepares and negotiates legal documents, such as contracts, transactions, and settlements on behalf of clients. Collaborates with clients and team to deliver quality, business-focused solutions to clients. Assists the company in sales and marketing efforts - articles, presentations, and client meetings. Proactively stays abreast of both business and legal issues that affect our clients. Manages multiples clients, tasks, and projects carrying varying deadlines. 3+ years experience in business law. Experience as a business owner, business manager, or in-house counsel preferred. Must have experience in corporate governance/ownership and contracts law; Preference will be given to candidates with a breadth of experience in different areas of law, such as employment, real estate, technology/privacy, M&A, regulatory compliance, and/or securities law. Licensed to practice law in Washington State required. Independent and self-directed required. Excels in a fast-paced environment required. Excellent research and written and verbal communication skills required. Experience mentoring others required. Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required. Strong leadership, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills required. Commitment to building a positive and supportive work culture required. Highly professional required. Ability to work under pressure and time constraints to meet deadlines required.
