This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and respected firm, rated stars on Google and stars on Birdseye. ##H2 Job Description As a family law attorney at, you will be responsible for helping clients navigate family issues with minimal disruption. Your main duties will include: * Engaging with clients to understand the facts of their case and goals of your client; * Delegating tasks efficiently and effectively to your support team to move cases forward; * Assessing the urgency of situations and determining accurate and appropriate actions; * Providing options and solutions to various legal questions; * Reviewing Family Law documents/pleadings; such as: petitions, summons, declarations (client, third party, attorney), parenting plans, child support orders, child support worksheets, responses, replies, motions, mediation and/or trial briefs/letters, trial preparation, etc.; * Researching case law, relevant statutes and court rules, court decisions, legal articles, and other writings; * Attending hearings, status conferences, mediations and trials in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston County Superior Courts; * Overseeing discovery, drafting court documents, and providing feedback to your team; * Negotiating settlements; * Complying with all legal standards and Rules of Professional Responsibility. ##H2 Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will have: * 3+ years of family law experience; * A valid license to practice in Washington State; * Access to a home office or remote office location of choice; * A collaborative personality with capacity to be firm and fair in your convictions. ##H2 Compensation offers a competitive salary based on experience and anticipated caseload, ranging from $90, - $150, per year.
