Job Title: Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead large projects and innovate processes within the department.
- Maintain operational excellence in the execution of all tasks.
- Interact with clients at a senior level to ensure project success.
- Perform and oversee state and local tax return reviews.
- Fulfill compliance tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to prepare necessary reports for tax return preparation.
- Analyze reports to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax return preparation.
- Communicate effectively to secure overall success and client satisfaction.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is necessary.
- A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- CPA, EA, or Member of the Bar designation is preferred.
- Experience in performing state and local tax return reviews, monitoring tax compliance requirements, conducting tax research, and solving complex tax issues is advantageous.
- Proficiency in working with financial statements and journal entries.
- Understanding of financial systems and business processes.
- Experience in coordinating with other departments for tax preparation.
- Ability to innovate through new and existing technologies.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $315,000. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
