Experience Information:
8+ years of continuous, specific, and verifiable experience in a large law firm.
Role & Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate documents, including leases, property acquisition and sale agreements, easements, and condominium documents.
Coordinate and direct the review, management, and preparation of commercial leasing and acquisition/sale documentation.
Conduct closings and complete post-closing documentation and administration.
Draft and review complex operating agreements, bylaws, and other client contracts.
Effectively organize and maintain client files.
Organize and lead a team of attorneys for portfolio transactions involving properties in multiple jurisdictions.
Monitor and calendar deadlines.
Experience negotiating, documenting, and closing financing transactions is a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and . degree.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of laws and court procedures.
Ability to handle confidential matters.
Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
High degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion.
Organization and time management skills.
