Associate Attorney The candidate will be managing own caseload with oversight by partners. Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses. Research and writing of memorandums. Attending hearings, conducting and defending depositions. Attending inspections and consulting with expert witnesses. Attending mediations and Trial Preparation. Should preferably have 1 year of Construction litigation and Professional liability experience. Defense attorneys admitted in New York or certified for admission, which requires candidates to have passed all three components of the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) [the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), and Multistate Essay Examination (MEE)], as well completing the New York Law Course (NYLC), and passing the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE), and New York Law Exam (NYLE).
