Summary:

The Investigative Due Diligence Experienced Associate is responsible for researching, assessing and reporting data for the investigative due diligence practice and its clients. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least one year of experience in corporate research or background checks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and gather information from various online and print sources, including legal, financial, employment, academic, and social media-oriented resources.
- Utilize advanced resources, such as media sources and search records, to gather information on companies, individuals, and other topics.
- Review sourced information for accuracy and completeness, and identify any inconsistencies or gaps.
- Create user-friendly investigative reports and client-facing reports to disseminate information.
- Work independently or within a group environment to meet project deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Sciences, Journalism, Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, English, or Liberal Arts (preferred).
- One or more years of experience in corporate research (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel (required).
- Knowledge of commercial databases, such as Westlaw, Lexis, Clear, and Pacer (preferred).

Salary Information:

- National Range: $70,000 - $80,000
- Maryland Range: $70,000 - $80,000
- NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $70,000 - $80,000
