**Members Only**, a premier non-profit environmental law organization, is seeking a One-Year Project Attorney to support its Community Partnerships Program (CPP) in Los Angeles, California. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, as well as the opportunity to work on precedent-setting cases and partner with thousands of environmental groups and communities.

The One-Year Project Attorney will primarily support the Los Angeles-based CPP team, but may also work with CPP staff in New York and Washington, . The successful candidate will start ASAP and work for 12 months, with the possibility of leading a case. This is a hybrid position, based out of **Members Only**'s Los Angeles office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Litigation: Conduct legal and factual research, prepare memoranda, draft legal and factual documents, and participate in court and administrative proceedings. Develop case and legal advocacy strategies in partnership with clients, technical experts, and other attorneys.
- Coalition Support: Actively engage with CPP clients, partners, and coalitions. Manage the administration of coalition meetings and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- Law school graduate and admitted into the CA state bar.
- 4-5 years of litigation experience.
- Experience within the public interest/service space, a plus.
- Background in science, public health, public policy, or related fields, a plus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed for work.
- Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role, based out of Los Angeles, CA, is $120,600 - $125,300. **Members Only** also offers a casual and congenial work environment, as well as comprehensive benefits.
