H1: Law Firm Seeking Mid-Level Associate in Private Equity and M&A for New York Office

The prestigious law firm, Winston & Strawn, is currently seeking a talented mid-level associate to join their highly regarded private equity and mergers and acquisitions group in their New York office. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced corporate attorney to advance their career and work with top-tier clients in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on various corporate matters related to private equity and mergers and acquisitions
- Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in complex transactions, such as leveraged buyouts, growth equity and minority investments, and strategic transactions
- Conduct due diligence, draft and negotiate agreements, and handle all aspects of deal execution
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop strategies and provide exceptional client service
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice to clients
- Collaborate with other practice groups, such as tax, finance, and regulatory, to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of experience in M&A and/or private equity transactions at a top-tier law firm
- Admitted to the New York Bar
- Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice and building strong relationships with clients
- Knowledge of corporate and securities laws, regulations, and market trends
