As a Paralegal at Husch Blackwell, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and projects, including fact investigation, legal research, document preparation and production, and client service. You will also have the chance to work with a team of talented and diverse professionals, while continuously developing your skills and technical proficiency.
We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to providing superb service to our clients and have excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also possess a Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a law-related field, or an Associate's degree with paralegal training. Experience in California asbestos and toxic tort litigation is mandatory.

The expected salaries for this position in various states and jurisdictions range from $67,000 to $116,000, depending on skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities:
Fact investigation, legal research, and document preparation and production.
Database management and docketing/case management.
Focusing on California asbestos practice.
Discovery, deposition preparation, investigation, trial and mediation preparation, and analysis of factual information.
Assistance in preparation of pleadings, motions, and/or briefs.
Management of document production and case management databases.
Scheduling and calendaring.
Mentoring Paralegal Assistants.
Meeting billable hour requirement of 1500 hours per year.
