Job Description H1: ESIS ProClaim Senior Specialist
H2: Manage Complex Commercial General Liability Claims

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of third-party liability claims
Analyze coverage, investigations facts of third-party claims, and secure evidence
Assess and address subrogation/recovery/tenders and apportion liability
Settle claims at the best outcome within established claim best practices guidelines and client instructions
Review policy information to determine coverage and conduct thorough investigations
Develop, work, and share performance and productivity goals
Provide direction to claims professionals and work collaboratively with defense counsel and litigation, as directed by the client
Prepare and submit detailed 90-day Claim Summary Reports and provide updates to the client on investigation, potential settlement opportunities, claim denials, reservation of rights, third party tenders, and recommendations
Post loss and expense reserves within authority limits and recommend reserve changes above authority
Review progress and status of claims with claims leadership and discuss issues, opportunities, and remedial actions
Assist in formulating improvements in claims handling procedures
Work with Partnership Leaders on delivering results and attend meetings and claim reviews
Review and confirm claims professionals have secured appropriate releases, proofs of loss, or compensation agreements and issue company drafts for payments
Maintain detailed file notes, reports, photos, and documentation within the claim
Follow all company and regulatory compliance requirements
Update claim timely with Medicare data and address Medicare reporting and interest
Meet or exceed performance goals

Qualifications:

4 or more years of experience as a claim professional and/or claims management with specialization in handling commercial auto liability and general liability claims
P&C insurance adjuster license where required
Knowledge of insurance industry, claims handling concepts, practices, and procedures
Strong background and demonstrated ability in dealing with significant coverage matters
Understanding of insurance and legal principles
Knowledge of P&C Group coverage and services
Working knowledge of industry best practices and procedures
Ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
Ability to make prompt, reasoned decisions based on detailed analysis of complex issues
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, JD and liability claims experience preferred

Salary Information:

Pay range for the role is $65,900 to $123,100
Specific offer will depend on applicant’s skills and other factors
Role may be eligible for discretionary annual incentive program
Comprehensive benefits package offered, details available on careers website
Disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for applicable geographic differential

ESIS ProClaim Senior Specialist - Job Description and Salary Information

ESIS ProClaim is seeking an experienced Claims Representative to join its team as a Senior Specialist. This is a full-time, regular position based in Simsbury, CT, with potential for remote work. The company is a multi-line Third-Party Administrator (TPA) that provides claims, risk control, and loss information systems to Fortune 1000 clients across North America. ESIS Specialty monitors, measures, and analyzes trends and works closely with clients to identify opportunities to positively impact their program costs.

The key objective of this role is to manage complex commercial general liability claims under the direction of the Claims Team Leader.
