Trust & Estate Paralegal The candidate will be preparing and filing probate pleadings. Family meetings, collecting, and distributing of assets, preparing estate tax returns and audit responses and addressing all issues in order to fully administer estates. Managing an average caseload between 20 and 30 estates in addition to various other projects for the team. Drafting estate planning documents including wills, composite trusts, codicils and amendments and ancillary documents. Preparing formation documents and maintaining various entities (LLC s, LLP s, foundations and corporations). Preparing and filing annual gift tax returns and any necessary audit responses.
