Senior Real Estate Attorney (8+ yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Real Estate Attorney will be responsible for providing strategic counsel on complex real estate matters and operating independently within a dynamic and growing practice. The candidate will regularly advise clients, including owners, developers, lenders, and investors, on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling acquisitions and dispositions of retail, office, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use properties.
- Managing commercial leasing, including both landlord and tenant-side representation.
- Addressing development, land use, and construction matters.
- Structuring traditional and structured real estate financings, including mortgage and mezzanine debt.
- Forming and structuring joint ventures, including drafting operating and partnership agreements.
The role requires a sophisticated understanding of the New York real estate market, excellent judgment, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. The attorney will work closely with entrepreneurial clients and colleagues on high-value, market-moving deals.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York Bar.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant real estate transactional experience.
- Strong client relationship skills and a proven track record of leading complex transactions from start to finish.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information:
The position offers a full-time role with a salary range of $207, to $270, per year.
