Position: Legal Assistant
The law firm of STIP Law is seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for law and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals
• Manage and organize legal documents, correspondence, and filings
• Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation
• Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars
• Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters
• Prepare and process legal forms and documents
• Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, and data entry
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
