The law firm of Baker & McKenzie is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Immigration Associate to join our Employment & Compensation Practice Group in our Chicago office. As an Immigration Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a high volume of global and US immigration cases, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

Draft, prepare and assemble business NIV and IV petitions, including RFE responses.
Draft client communications.
Use internal case management tools to manage multiple assignments.
Stay current on emerging legislation and assess its impact on our clients’ businesses.

Qualifications and Skills:

Top academic credentials
Strong analytical ability
Excellent communication and writing skills
One to three years of experience with US business immigration
Global immigration experience is a plus
Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the Illinois bar

Salary and Benefits:

Bonus eligible
Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits based on number of hours worked
US base compensation of $130,000 to $145,000 annually (location and relevant factors may affect individual pay)
