Forvis Mazars, an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join their team in multiple locations including St. Louis, MO and Decatur, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with others, plan for the future, and provide tax compliance and advisory services to successful companies and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations in various industries
- Develop, build, and manage client relationships
- Coach and mentor tax staff
- Review tax returns prepared by associates and seniors
- Delegate responsibilities and monitor engagement teams
- Utilize technology tools and continuously improve work processes
- Research complex tax issues and effectively communicate findings
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax department
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree
- Partnership tax experience
Salary Information:
- Minimum salary in Illinois: $101,400 USD
- Maximum salary in Illinois: $132,500 USD

- Time and a half pay for non-exempt/hourly positions working over 40 hours in a workweek
