Job Title:
Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group, the role involves being an integral part of tax engagement teams and assisting in providing a wide array of tax services pertinent to both public and private companies. The core responsibilities include:
- Conducting a detailed technical review of federal tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals along with reviewing all related work papers.
- Collaborating with clients' tax and finance departments to gather data necessary for tax planning and compliance.
- Undertaking a thorough review of income tax provisions in line with ASC 740.
- Researching federal tax legislation to comprehend its implications on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting in various tax consulting projects, including research and writing tasks related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflows and supervising tax consultants and interns on designated engagements.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, necessitating US Tax professionals to be physically co-located 2 – 3 days per week.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, based on the nature of work and the clients and industries/sectors served.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in federal taxation.
- Experience in the preparation and review of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Possession or willingness to obtain one of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, then a Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred:
- An advanced degree such as a Master of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- A passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technological solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research and writing capabilities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this position considers a variety of factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational necessities. The disclosed range estimate is $66,570 to $151,580. It is noted that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions are based on the individual facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, there is potential eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, which is contingent on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
