Job Title: Manager, Oracle Tax Implementation
Job Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Oversee daily interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
- Delivery: Lead and manage components of Oracle EBS Financials and/or Oracle Cloud ERP or indirect tax engine client engagements and teams.
- Solutions: Identify, design, and implement innovative technology solutions to address tax needs.
- Cross Functional Teaming: Comprehend and articulate the broader Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice and the company as a whole. Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically.
- People Development: Act as a counselor and coach; participate in the staffing process and retention activities.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain contacts, organize and lead pursuit teams; contribute to business development.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Required Experience: Over 5 years of experience in implementing Oracle EBS Financials and/or Oracle Cloud ERP including tax requirements for direct tax and/or indirect tax. Experience in direct tax such as corporate income tax, tax provision, operational transfer pricing, and state income taxation. Experience with Oracle TRCS and other EPM Suite applications is necessary. Preferred experience in indirect tax (transaction tax) using native Oracle product functionality, ONESOURCE Indirect Determination, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos (Taxware).
- Certifications: One of the following active accreditations is required: Licensed CPA, Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent), Enrolled Agent, Project Management (PMP), or other relevant technical certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), various SAFe® certifications, Professional Scrum Product Owner™, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Oracle Certified Professional, and others.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with a Big 4 firm, large ERP/consulting organization, or a large IT department of a multinational company with tax-related experience. Experience working directly with clients.
Salary Information:
- The wage range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The estimated range is $108,430 to $246,870. Compensation decisions are dependent on specific facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where an award depends on various factors including individual and organizational performance.
Additional Information:
- This position requires the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires . Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- Travel up to 50% might be required based on the work, clients, and industries/sectors served.
