**Job Title**
Lead, Transformation Program Management - National Tax
**Job Responsibilities**
The Lead, Transformation Program Management is a pivotal role within the Tax Transformation Office at the company, focusing on Service Delivery Transformation involving people, process, and technology. The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient delivery of high-value, quality tax services. The main duties include:
- Collaborating with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders to manage relationships, track and monitor workstream progress, and ensure timely reporting of milestones and dependencies.
- Monitoring risks and issues, escalating them to leadership when necessary, and preparing executive-level briefings and reports.
- Executing day-to-day project management activities to support tax transformation projects across Business Threads, including tax compliance and advisory client service delivery.
- Developing and managing project workplans while ensuring timely delivery of business outcomes.
- Engaging with Tax professionals to identify client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements.
- Conducting business process analysis and modeling, applying agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design.
- Collaborating throughout the technology delivery lifecycle, conducting system testing, and facilitating user testing.
- Preparing and delivering learning materials, planning deployment activities, and providing hypercare support.
- Supporting pilot initiatives and driving adoption through change management and communication.
- Analyzing feedback, developing related action plans, and decommissioning legacy systems.
**Education and Experience Information**
- A Bachelor’s degree in business or an information technology-related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of consulting client experience and 3 years of experience leading project management teams in a professional services environment, focusing on strategy implementation, business transformation, and project management.
- Demonstrated understanding of standard system development life (SDLC) processes.
- Ability to travel 25% - 50% a month, based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle.
- One of the following active accreditations is required: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, or if not CPA eligible, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or Technology Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP).
Preferred qualifications include experience in digital transformation, Smartsheet, agile delivery and design thinking, business process analysis and design, and end-to-end technology project delivery. Experience with training delivery and post-production client-facing support, and a strong focus on deployment, adoption, and driving change is also preferred. Additionally, knowledge of data management and metrics, proficiency in MS Office tools, and previous Big 4 experience are advantageous.
**Salary Information**
The wage range for this role is estimated to be between $84,980 and $169,650. This range takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The company emphasizes that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, which considers individual and organizational performance.
