Job Title: Real Estate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle all legal issues related to real estate, including transfers of titles and deeds, construction matters, mortgage concerns, and zoning issues.
- Provide legal advice to the organization, prepare resolutions and forms, and participate in major legal actions.
- Interpret and render advice on laws and regulations pertaining to real property, such as housing law, commercial and residential property development projects, real estate financing and leasing, Real Estate Investment Trusts, land sales, title issues and searches, escrow arrangements, property management, rights of way, and lease disputes.
- Negotiate and draft contracts regarding real estate transactions.
- Handle lawsuits, court cases, and arbitrations concerning real estate disputes.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited law school and admitted into the state bar.
- Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- 7-10 years of previous experience as a Real Estate Attorney.
- Familiarity with real estate law and business acumen.
Salary Information:
- Potential pay ranges from $175,000 to $185,000 per year.
