Job Title: Senior Counsel, Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a dynamic caseload of Global Trade regulatory and policy violation investigations.
- Research and provide legal advice on complex legal and compliance questions related to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), . Customs & Border Patrol regulations, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) sanctions, and . Antiboycott laws.
- Review proposed transactions for compliance with . and applicable . sanctions.
- Provide guidance on process, policy, regulations, and other Global Trade requirements to Global Trade staff and other business stakeholders.
- Manage development and closure of corrective actions and process improvement tasks.
- Represent the company in communications with government regulatory and enforcement agencies.
- Facilitate Global Trade compliance reviews across the company’s international subsidiaries and joint ventures.
- Monitor and address proposed and implemented changes in law that will impact business operations and compliance programs.
- Take leadership roles on corporate steering committees/task teams to engage in developing and guide policy and process changes across the corporation.
- Coordinate with the company's Consent Agreement team, contribute to internal reporting on progress to requirements, assist in drafting semi-annual reports, and work with external auditors.

Education and Experience Information:
- Requires a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited . law school.
- Must be a member of a state bar in good standing.
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of relevant legal experience in Global Trade licensing requirements and processes.
- Requires 5 years or more experience leading compliance investigations, maintaining legal privilege, and briefing leadership and stakeholders to a resolution.
- Extensive experience managing and submitting disclosures to . regulators regarding Global Trade compliance violations is preferred.
- Extensive experience with export commodity classification requirements under the ITAR and EAR is preferred.
- Experience with . Customs & Border Patrol regulations and requirements is preferred.
- Experience advising on compliance requirements specific to . defense contracts is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are preferred.
- Strong project and time management experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a . Security Clearance is preferred.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is $194,000 USD to $388,000 USD. This range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The company considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Additional Information:
- The position is a hybrid role, involving regular work both onsite and offsite. The ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with the leader.
