Job Title: Real Estate Finance Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The Real Estate Finance Associate will be a key member of the real estate finance group within the Finance Department at the law firm. The candidate will be responsible for handling a broad spectrum of debt, debt-like, and equity transactions that are secured by or invested in real estate projects. This includes, but is not limited to, construction financing and multi-tiered capital transactions. The Associate will work primarily on lender/capital provider-side transactions but will also engage in borrower-side work as needed. The position offers the opportunity for direct interaction with partners, providing valuable mentorship and client contact in a supportive and collegial environment.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess 2-5 years of commercial real estate finance experience, preferably acquired at an Am Law 100 firm. Strong academic credentials are essential for this role. Additionally, an active bar license in the state where the candidate wishes to work (Philadelphia, Los Angeles, or Baltimore) is required. Experience with structured real estate finance, preferred equity investments, and distressed commercial real estate matters is highly desirable. A blend of experience in both lender/capital provider-side and borrower-side transactions is acceptable, offering flexibility in the candidate's background.

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for this position is between $220,000 and $275,000, depending on the candidate's level of experience and the location of the office where they will be based.
