Our plaintiff's firm is searching for an associate attorney to join our team. We've assembled a team that meshes well and enjoys working with one another. Our new associate will handle personal injury cases (motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction, medical malpractice) and handle workers' compensation cases.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, value punctuality, and will need to be able to multitask effectively.

 

Core responsibilities

• Communicating effectively and reasonably with clients, opposing counsel, opposing party, and/or third parties


• Preparing legal documents, memos, emails, and other written correspondence


• Handle in-person court calls in Cook, Lake, DuPage, Will, and Kane Counties.

Qualifications/Skills

•     Licensed to practice law in Illinois


•     Proficient in Microsoft Office software


•     Strong oral and written communication skills


•     Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time sensitive documents, and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment


•     Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team oriented environment


•     1-4 years of practicing in our area of law, whether as a plaintiff or defense attorney.
