Law Firm Seeking Entrepreneurial Associate Attorney in Cadiz, Ohio (Hybrid) to Build Successful Practice
Salary: $60,000-$100,000 (Base Plus Total Comp* Model)
Location: Cadiz, Ohio (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
EQUES® Law Group is looking for a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team and build a successful practice in a new geographic area or practice area. The ideal candidate will have a book of business or a proven track record of building one, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and be dedicated to delivering high-quality legal representation.
EQUES® Total Compensation* includes base salary, health insurance, paid disability insurance, 401k match, paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Client Advocacy: Represent clients in your specific geographical area or practice area with the support of a multi-faceted team.
- Matter Economic Projections: Successfully project the value of services, estimate fees and expenses, and build a matter budget for communication with the firm and client.
- Clear Communication and Expectation Setting: Communicate financial obligations to clients and maintain a strong strategy for retaining funds.
- For Litigators - Court Appearances & Litigation: Maintain a steady schedule of hearings, trials, and client conferences, advocating effectively in court.
- Case Management: Oversee and manage legal matters with a paralegal team, ensuring thorough documentation and strategic planning.
- Negotiation & Dispute Resolution: Pursue favorable outcomes for clients through settlement, mediation, negotiation, and litigation.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with professionals from various backgrounds to advance client matters.
- Strategic Growth & Business Development: Network, market, and engage with the community to develop and expand the firm's practices.
Qualifications:
- JD and admission to the Ohio Bar (Required).
- Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage time and tasks with a legal team.
- Track record of network building, business development, and community engagement.
- Ability to work efficiently, manage high-stress situations, and effectively organize a legal practice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using case management systems and remote collaboration tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally for hearings and trials.
