Job Responsibilities:
The legal unpaid internship at the law firm provides candidates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of law practice under the direct supervision of attorneys. Interns will be involved in a diverse range of legal areas, including personal injury law, immigration (both family and employment-based), real estate transactions, matrimonial law (contested and uncontested), tax law, wills and estate planning, and bankruptcy (Chapters 7, 13, and 11).

Interns will receive training and perform tasks such as:
- Writing legal memos for motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, temporary restraining orders, and attachments.
- Training in electronic court filing systems such as ECF, PACER, and NYSCEF.
- Interviewing clients and making court appearances.
- Working with government agencies.
- Drafting legal documents including complaints, answers, affirmative defenses, and counterclaims.
- Conducting discovery activities, such as automatic disclosures, interrogatories, requests for document production, and appearing for depositions.
- Promoting the law firm on social media platforms.

Education and Experience Information:
This internship is particularly suited for:
- Paralegal and legal marketing students seeking practical experience.
