Salary Range: $180K - $220K (based on experience and location)
Responsibilities and Requirements:
1. Transaction Structuring and Innovation:
- Develop and implement customized transaction structures for insurance clients.
- Utilize knowledge of insurance products and market trends to craft solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes to identify new product opportunities.
2. Client Engagement and Pitch Material Preparation:
- Prepare high-quality pitch materials and presentations for client meetings.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and product specialists to effectively communicate the bank's solutions.
- Attend client meetings to present solutions and foster strong relationships.
3. Transaction Execution and Documentation:
- Lead end-to-end execution of transactions, including preparing term sheets and negotiating credit agreements.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout the transaction process.
4. Internal Approvals and Stakeholder Management:
- Drive internal approval process by preparing credit applications and transaction memos.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address concerns and secure necessary approvals.
- Ensure transaction components align with bank's risk appetite and strategic goals.
5. Post-Closing Transaction Management:
- Oversee transactions post-closing and monitor ongoing compliance.
- Manage modifications or restructuring requests in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide support for internal reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in structured finance, credit solutions, or similar role.
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, CPA, CFA, or JD) preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance and banking.
- Knowledge of credit agreement negotiation, legal documentation, and risk management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Compensation and Total Rewards:
- Base pay range: $180K - $220K (depending on experience and location).
- Eligibility for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
