Job Title: Legal Knowledge Management Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Knowledge Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting KM Attorneys and the Legal Knowledge Management group in enhancing client service through the development, implementation, and maintenance of knowledge sharing systems. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the management of the Legal KM project portfolio and implementing Legal KM solutions and tools to bolster knowledge management across the law firm.
- Collaborating with the Legal KM group and other internal resources to support initiatives, ongoing projects, programs, and tracking usage and quality standards for KM tools. Providing assistance to KM Attorneys with specific projects as needed.
- Aiding in the implementation phase of solutions devised by the KM group. Working with the Legal KM team, KM managers, Project Managers, and IT Training to execute the appropriate support model once tools are in production.
- Communicating with stakeholders to update them on project status and maintaining ongoing support for assigned tasks.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm’s KM tools, including content maintenance, organization and upkeep of databases, and other support tasks such as data visualization, firm experience records management, oversight of knowledge libraries, and matter tracking.
- Championing the use of Legal KM tools and resources and assisting with implementing communications strategies for legal KM priorities.

Education and Experience Information:
The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must demonstrate:

- Good attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Comfort in working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and re-prioritize work as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- A customer service orientation.
- Effective use of technology, database, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with Knowledge Management is desirable, with familiarity with data management systems and basic skills in data visualization tools being a plus.
- The ability to work with professional staff in a multi-office environment.
- A background in business, law, or equivalent experience is desirable.

Salary Information:

- Boston: $55,400 - $80,300
- New York: $58,000 - $84,100

This range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. Additionally, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
