Associate Attorney The candidate will work on high-impact environmental cases representing states, counties, cities, and non-profits. Must have 3 years of litigation experience to join a mission-driven team dedicated to protecting people and the planet; experience with offensive and defensive discovery, including document collection and review, drafting written discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and litigating discovery motions; investigating and analyzing legal claims, engaging in all facets of discovery, interviewing fact witnesses and scientific experts, drafting motions, briefs, and other pleadings, appearing and arguing in state and federal court, and preparing for and trying cases; demonstrated analytical and writing skills are required; thrive in the accelerated environment of complex litigation and discovery; strong communication skills, a growth mindset, attention to detail, and teamwork.
