Duties
Manage a wide array of federal and state consumer and commercial credit regulatory matters
Conduct legal research on regulatory issues at both federal and state levels
Draft legal memoranda analyzing consumer and commercial credit regulations
Support regulatory due diligence efforts for investors and lenders
Collaborate with team members to handle all facets of regulatory licensing for clients
Contribute to various ongoing regulatory projects and assignments as required
Requirements
3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a law firm
Strong background in consumer credit regulatory and licensing matters
Licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and in good standing
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active Bar membership in Washington, DC
